Here is a short 20 second video showing the progression of my painting the tulip watercolor below. This is new for me, tell me if you like seeing the progression, I may do this more for each new painting.
"Calloway Gardens Tulips", H 49"  W 33 1/2", $2500, it is unframed for now and easy to ship in a roll to a new home...
In February, I participated in a two day event, "Appleton in Bloom" at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, Fl. My former high school art teacher, Mary Moore is the art educator there. I worked on my tulip painting and another one while there and showed the progressive slide show of the tulip watercolor on my laptop. The beautiful museum reminded me of the Cummer Museum here.

I painted a diptych titled "Marsh and Weather" for my friend, Judge Emmet Ferguson, for his County Courthouse chambers. He has large windows behind his desk and wanted the effect of windows in front of him. These oil paintings are showing the view from the observation tower at the Theodore Roosevelt Area, a national preserve next to Ft. Caroline National Monument in Arlington.

I showed the diptych on my wall at the Southlight Gallery last month. Michael Glinski took this fun photo of me.
Wednesday night, March 6 from 5 - 9 pm, time for the March Downtown Art Walk. I will be at the Southlight Gallery from 5 to 8 ish. Please stop by!
