SOLDOK, so I spent a good portion of my day in front of the TV watching the inauguration... then I felt compelled to paint something to commemorate the day. I dug through a box of old photos and found some from a trip I took to Washington DC years ago to visit Susan Brodeur when she lived there. Add some red white and blue bunting in the right spot and the stage platform and here you go! I even have a brush stroke in it to indicate President Obama.
