"Little Girl in Gramma's Garden" - My 100th Blog Painting!

NFS  4 1/2" x 8 1/2" oil on panel

To celebrate my 100th (!!!) PAD blog painting I thought I would paint a 'self-portrait' of sorts. For years I've been wanting to paint from this old photograph of me standing in my grandmother's flower garden in Wilmington, NC. Like my knobby knees?!?

I started this PAD blog in mid November as a way to help me get through this tough economy. I've sold over two thirds of them. Thanks everyone!

I hope you continue to enjoy them as I go for another 100!

"At the Beach"

AVAILABLE, $50, email me to purchase, kartstark@bellsouth.net

85 degrees today, feels like summer is on the way. Time for the beach. These children are friends of my family.
(I am going to work on a large landscape that I have to finish so no blog painting and posting tomorrow.)
