Still in a beach frame of mind, I decided to paint a scene from my weekend at the ocean. Tucker Hawthorne, here, loves to swim after throw toys. 

Art Unleashed, July 10th, at Bella Sera in Avondale, is a juried pet inspired art show and silent auction with food, cocktails and live music to benefit the spay/neuter programs of First Coast No More Homeless Pets.

Painting my dog, Talley, is always a good, fun, quick subject for when I am starting a PAD late. And yes, she has her own life jacket! We were on Lake Santa Fe one early morning. She also likes to go kayaking with me. Enjoy!

I did not have alot of time to decide what to paint or time to actually paint this afternoon so painting my dog, Talley, is always an easy decision! In this scene she is in a field near my mom's lake home.
